Support

Prayer Mentions is made by a small ministry, and mail about it reaches a person rather than a queue. If something is not working, or you want to ask for something the app does not do, please write.

Before You Write

A handful of things the app does on purpose look like faults from outside — reminders that stop after a few days, a meditation that has not appeared on another device yet, a schedule that shows nobody today. They are all explained here, and one of them may save you the wait for a reply.

Sending A Diagnostic Report

The app can put together a report describing how it is configured and what its recent sync activity looked like. It makes almost every problem quicker to find, and it is worth attaching to a first email.

In the app, open the menu from the Today tab, choose Help & Support, and use Email Diagnostic Report. It opens a mail message with the report attached so you can read it before it is sent.

The report describes the app, not your prayer list. It carries counts of how many people and requests you have — never their names, never your notes, and never your meditations.

Asking For Something New

Requests are genuinely welcome, and several things in the app started as an email from someone using it. It is worth knowing that a few things are deliberate absences rather than gaps — there is no way to mark a person as prayed for, no streak, and no record of who you prayed for and when, and there never will be.
