If Something Looks Wrong

My Reminders Stopped Arriving

The most common cause is simply that the app hasn't been opened in a few days — reminders are scheduled about three days ahead, and opening the app lays out the next few days again.

It's also worth checking Settings → Notifications, at the bottom, which shows whether iOS is currently delivering anything from Prayer Mentions and offers a button straight to the iOS Settings app.

Nobody Is Scheduled Today

On Monthly Coverage your list is spread across the days of the month, and with fewer people than days some days are simply empty. That's the schedule doing its job rather than skipping anyone.

On the letter schedules, a day whose letter matches nobody on your list will be empty too. You can have those days fall back to a few people instead, under Settings → People Schedule.

Someone Never Seems To Come Up

On the monthly or weekly letter schedules, people are grouped by the first letter of their name — so a name that begins with a number, a punctuation mark, or a space has no letter to be filed under. Settings → Data & Backups → People Data → People Diagnostics lists anyone in that position, and editing the name is enough to fix it.

I Asked Siri To Add Something And It Isn't There

It is saved. People and prayer requests added by voice, or shared in from another app, are held until Prayer Mentions is next opened and then added to your list. Open the app and it will be waiting.

A Prayer Request Never Reminds Me

A weekly request needs at least one day of the week chosen — with none selected there's no day for it to arrive on. The request will say so on its own row.

A monthly request set to the 29th, 30th, or 31st waits for months that have that date, so February will pass it by.

A request past its end date also stops reminding you, though it stays on your list until you archive it. Settings → Data & Backups → Prayer Request Data → Prayer Request Diagnostics gathers those up in one place.

The Widget Is Showing Something Old

Under Keep Until Replaced, that's intended: your meditation stays put until you write another one. If you'd rather start fresh each morning, Reset Each Day is under Settings → Meditation, and either of the two revisit modes will bring a different one round each day.

Archiving your current meditation also moves the widget on to the most recent one left, which can look like a mistake when it isn't.

The App Closed Itself

Two things do that on purpose: changing an iCloud Sync category, and restoring a snapshot. Both need the app to start up again to take effect, and both tell you before they do it. Reopen from the Home Screen and everything continues.

Something Isn't Syncing

Settings → iCloud Sync has a Sync Now button for each category, which retries anything iCloud hasn't accepted yet.

If it keeps failing, Help & Support has an iCloud Write Test that reports the real reason, and an Email Diagnostic Report that gathers everything useful into a message you can review and send.

Still Stuck

Help & Support → Send Feedback reaches us directly. If something looks wrong rather than missing, the diagnostic report is the fastest way for us to see what your app is seeing — you get to read it before it sends.
