FerventWord App is a Bible reading app built to work offline, keep your place, and stay out of your way.
Two Sites, And They Are Not The Same
There are two FerventWord addresses, and it is worth knowing which is which.
- ferventwordministries.org is FerventWord Ministries, the nonprofit that makes this app. Its site carries information about the organization, the privacy policy, and how to give.
- ferventword.com is the reading tool this app is a companion to. It publishes the reading plans the app follows, along with further teaching for a passage.
The plans in the app are the plans published on the reading site.
Inside The App
Menu → About FerventWord App shows this, along with the version of the app you are running. Support asks for that version, so it sits beside Send A Diagnostic Report in Help & Support as well.
What The App Will Not Do
FerventWord App shows you what today holds and helps you find where you have been. It never scores your reading. There are no streaks, no percentages, and no list of what you did not get to — a day you did not read is not a debt, and the app has nowhere to record one.
Anything you make in FerventWord App you can take out of it. Settings → Export & Import writes your plans, your notebooks and your meditations to files you can open and read anywhere.
